🎯 Theme: Smart & sustainable industry in support of the Sustainable Development Goals
The 2026 edition brought together students, researchers, industry representatives, and partners of the SDG Innovation Network to discuss issues related to smart systems, applied artificial intelligence, the IoT, automation, and the sustainable transformation of organizations.
This edition highlighted the integration of Industry X.0 technologies from a perspective of sustainability, eco-responsibility, and operational performance.
Highlights of the program
- Plenary lectures led by experts from academia and industry (Guy Dulude, VP at Siemens, on industrial digital technologies, Richard Gagné, Quality Director at Famic Technologies on the digitization of multi-technology components, as well as Prof. Amin Chaabane from ÉTS on the role of humans in smart environments)
- Student presentations to an academic and industry jury, and a poster competition featuring three awards for excellence
- Practical workshops focused on digital tools and decision-making (Designing a first IoT platform, Smart workflow automation with n8n, AI and ethics)
- Discussions on Industry 5.0 and SDG alignment
