The Digital Transformation Initiative (OTN) is a program supported by the Québec Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy (MEIE). Its goal is to support the digital transformation of Québec SMEs through the Technology and Knowledge Transfer Program for Industry, fostering smart, digital, and sustainable innovation (Industry 4.0/5.0/X.0). This program is led by the SDG Innovation Network, which brings together eight Québec universities.
Building on the success of the first phase (OTN 1), launched in 2022 with $600,000 in funding, the MEIE renewed its trust in the SDG Innovation Network in March 2023 by granting $5 million in funding over four years (2023–2027) for a second phase (OTN 2).
